Payment Cycle
As a SPVAIG seller, we prioritise prompt payments.
Your payments are released after your product is dispatched, ensuring a fast turnaround time.
- The payment cycle initiates when your product is picked up.
- You can expect to receive your payment in as fast as 7* days.
- Payments are securely transferred directly to your registered bank account, with SPVAIG fees deducted accordingly.
* Payment schedules are seller-tier dependent. Payments are released at the earliest date from the date of dispatch. Login to your SPVAIG seller account to view your payment schedules.
Fulfilment Type
The fees charged by SPVAIG depend on the type of fulfilment option you choose:
1. Fulfilment by SPVAIG (FBS)
SPVAIG takes care of packaging, shipping, and delivery.
2. Non-Fulfilment by SPVAIG (NFBS)
You handle packaging and shipping yourself.
The fees associated with each option vary to accommodate the different services provided.

Fixed Fee (Platform Opportunity)
Also known as the closing fee, this depends on your seller tier and fulfilment type.

Commission Fee (Category)
A percentage-based fee applied to the final selling price of your product.
Commission rates are the same for both FBS and NFBS orders.

Rates vary by product category.
Shipping Fees (Weight & Location)
SPVAIG provides free shipping for products weighing less than 500 g for Local & Zonal deliveries.
Shipping is calculated on the greater of actual or volumetric weight.

Geography Definitions
- Local (Intracity): Item shipped within a city
- Zonal (Intrazone): Item shipped within a region (North, South, East, West)
- National (Interzone): Item shipped across zones

How to Calculate Your Gross Margin
Use this formula:
Total SPVAIG Fees = Fixed Fee + Commission Fee + Shipping Fee
Gross Margin (Excl. GST) = Selling Price − Total SPVAIG Fees
Example Calculation
Seller: Gold Tier
Fulfilment: FBS
Product: Sari
Selling Price: ₹450
Step 1: Shipping Fee
- Location: Ludhiana → Bengaluru (National)
- Weight: 400 g
- Fee = ₹16
Step 2: Commission Fee
- Category Rate: 4.5%
- ₹450 × 4.5% = ₹20.25
Step 3: Fixed Fee
Step 4: Total SPVAIG Fees
₹16 + ₹20.25 + ₹57 = ₹93.25
Step 5: Gross Margin
₹450 − ₹93.25 = ₹356.75
